Synopsis: Usushima Kurumi (Nakajima Yuto) believes he is the reincarnation of a swan. He received hothousing from his mother who runs ballet classes and devoted his life to ballet. But one day, he makes the decision to become a detective due to the influence of a man’s splendid “swan-like” performance at a crime scene. Kurumi gets his wish and is assigned to Shinonome Kita Police Precinct. The irresponsible detective Washio Takao (Takashima Masahiro), who keeps playing smart phone games, is made Kurumi’s trainer. Kurumi has a hunch that Washio is the “swan” that he saw, but is scoffed at by Washio. The two of them are put in charge of the murder of the famous heart surgeon Katagiri Daijiro (Uchida Shinichiro) who has won the medical community’s highest prize. Kurumi plays a part in the arrest of a suspect called Ozawa, but no connection between Ozawa and Katagiri is found. Kurumi hears from an eyewitness Komori Kyoko (Matsui Rena) that Ozawa had spoken to her just before Katagiri was killed and said, “Will you buy a toy for me?” He also goes to question Katagiri’s fellow researchers Osaki Mamoru (Owada Shinya) and Kaneshiro Fumihiko (Ayata Toshiki), but there is no clue as he had anticipated. Meanwhile, Kaneshiro is murdered by a Russian hostess Makarova of an exclusive club. However, she maintains that she has completely no recollection of the case although Kaneshiro had said, “Will you buy a toy for me?” before he was killed. Kurumi and Washio take Makarova to therapist Fukahira Azusa (Nagasaku Hiromi) at the suggestion of their boss Ozone Daiki (Sugimoto Tetta). Azusa is queer but an excellent therapist. She succeeds in bringing back Makarova’s memories of her previous life using hypnosis. Kurumi investigates a past case on the basis of this and finds out about the disappearance of two brothers from an orphanage 40 years ago. Furthermore, the skeletons of the siblings are discovered in the old well of a shrine near that orphanage … …
