Synopsis: Fujiki Sana (Tanaka Rena), a programmer at network game company Neo Genesis, has been researching a “virtual human nurturing game” using artificial intelligence. A simulated foetus created by CG is sleeping in the screen that she is watching intently. Its speed of development is seven times faster than a human being. Together with Kiyotake Mitsuo (Itao Itsuji), the head of the development team, and Mizushima Moemi (Adachi Rika), a junior programmer, Sana inputs vast amounts of data into the simulated foetus, making it grow at a rapid pace in an attempt to create an imaginary character. Michio Harutaka (Hayami Mokomichi), a key development member, is Sana’s fiance and they plan to hold their wedding soon. Sana and Harutaka, who both lost their parents and families when they were children, fill a void in each other’s hearts and made a commitment for the future. She is at the height of happiness. However, at the moment they are about to exchange wedding rings on the day of their wedding ceremony, Harutaka collapses without warning and dies of acute myocardial infarction. Plunged into depression, Sana decides to commit suicide, but is discovered by her aunt Kimie (Minamino Yoko) and she survives. 10 months later, Sana has got back on her feet again and safely gives birth to a boy whom she names Haruto. During her leave of absence, the simulated foetus has grown to 6 years and 11 months by human standards. Sana observes it and a thought that she should never put into action enters her mind. She secretly copies the data and brings it back home with her. There is a boy innocently moving in some display in her house. Sana starts to enter all sorts of data relating to her late husband Harutaka into it. The diary Harutaka left behind, photographs of memories and videos … … Wanting to see Harutaka again, Sana attempts to recreate him in a virtual world now and produces AI with a personality and emotions just like Harutaka. She devotes herself to the work of entering data more than actual child raising. However, as it develops, she starts to realise the differences from the actual Harutaka. She eventually makes a decision. But she does not know that it will bring about an unexpected outcome … …
