Synopsis: It has been three years since Kudo Mayako (Kuriyama Chiaki) remarried music critic Kudo Michihiko (Ichihara Hayato) with whom she had a burning, forbidden love. She works as a temporary employee and supports the happy-go-lucky Michihiko. He has little income despite doing a lot of little jobs such as teaching piano to the neighbourhood children and lecturing part-time at a music college, and completely depended on his mother for financial assistance before his marriage. Besides lacking a keen sense of money, he is an irrational optimist about the future. When there is something he wants, he would immediately borrow money from his mother to buy it. Mayako is at a complete loss on what she should do with Michihiko who cannot seem to be independent. To make things worse, she becomes the target of a layoff and loses her precious source of income. This life is far from her dream of living glamorously in Italy. Mayako says that she is unlucky and suffering a loss as before. Her discontent grows, just like the time when she was married to her ex-husband Mizukoshi Koichi (Inagaki Goro) who has an extreme Oedipus complex and is a clean freak. Meanwhile, Mayako’s good friend Takeda Kumi (Takanashi Rin) who is dating Koichi, feels increasingly unhappy because he still mentions Mayako’s name despite the passage of time and praises everything about her. Kumi is intensely jealous of his affection for Mayako. Before long, she starts to work out a frightening scheme. Mayako, who has started working at Kumi’s wine bar, soon sees a shocking scene on the road of Michihiko being hugged by a student Kanzaki Aoi (Minamisawa Nao) at the music college where he is a part-time lecturer. She wonders if he is having an affair and leaves the scene feeling very shaken. Then Mayako has an unexpected encounter with a handsome and muscular man. He is a farmer Soma Hiroto (Yamamoto Yusuke) who produces strawberries and radishes, and sells vegetables and fruits to the wine bar wholesale. This is how he meets Mayako. He addresses Mayako familiarly right after meeting her and closes the distance between them. Mayako is not put off by him but instead attracted to his earthy masculinity … …
