Story
25-year-old Hayase Mizuki and her mother Akiko worked hard together for the junior high school and university exams and even job hunting. She has grown up well with the support of her perfect mother and become an English language teacher. Akiko is also her best friend whom she fully trusts. Mother and daughter are on good terms like a couple. Although Mizuki’s father Koji is concerned about the attachment of his wife and daughter, he lives only for his work and has not been able to address their relationship. However, everything completely changes after Mizuki meets Matsushima Taichi, a site supervisor in charge of the family’s new home which is under construction, and the two of them become close because of his friendliness. Akiko takes a liking to Matsushima and pushes him to date her daughter. But on Mizuki’s first date with him, Akiko tails the two of them. As a result of meeting Matsushima, Mizuki starts to become aware that she has been unconsciously living by gauging her mother’s feelings. As she attempts to pull away from her mother, the gradual changes agitate Akiko who does not want to be robbed of what is most precious to her. Something dangerous comes on inside of her and she eventually ends up seducing Matsushima.

Characters
Haru as Hayase Mizuki
An English language teacher at a private girls high school. Her mother is her best friend and their taste in clothes and food are exactly the same. She meets Matsushima Taichi and is gradually attracted to his friendly personality.

Yagira Yuya as Matsushima Taichi
The site supervisor for the home builder in charge of the Hayase family’s new home. He is encouraged by Hayase Akiko to date her daughter Mizuki, but he slowly begins to feel apprehensive about the very close relationship between mother and daughter.

Saito Yuki as Hayase Akiko
Hayase Mizuki’s mother. A housewife who is an assistant at doll making classes as a hobby. She has lavished love on her only daughter Mizuki and encourages her to go out with Matsushima Taichi.

Terawaki Yasufumi as Hayase Koji
Hayase Mizuki’s father. He works for a food company. Because the company comes first, he does not stay home and leaves the household to his wife. He has actually become a target for layoff at his company but he is unable to tell his family.

Aso Yumi as Makimura Fumie
Hayase Akiko’s friend since university days. She presides over the doll making classes. Because she has known the Hayases for a long time, she worries about the relationship between Akiko and her daughter Mizuki.

Dan Mitsu as Tachihara Maki
Matsushima Taichi’s senior at the home builder. She is in charge of the design of the Hayase family’s new home. She and Matsushima used to date and she interferes in his relationship with Hayase Mizuki.
