Story
Sakamoto Marin has been captivated by ships ever since she saw a luxury cruise liner when she was an elementary school student, and wants to sail one herself. To fulfil her dream of being a navigator, Marin has enrolled as a first-year student at Kanto Maritime University. This is how she meets Ishikawa Tsubame on the day of their university’s joint practical training with Kobe Kainan University. Tsubame once failed the university entrance exams as a result of some circumstances before she was admitted to Kanto Maritime University. But she quickly regrets it and participates with a heavy heart since this is not what she wanted. Marin cannot read situations and has a very spontaneous nature. This frequently causes trouble even though she never loses heart no matter how she gets scolded. Tsubame easily gets carried away by moods and is often regretful afterwards. The two girls with completely different personalities and mindsets have to spend one month in the same group and same room for the practical training aboard a vessel for their first test as freshmen in an environment where 80% are boys. Tsubame begins to get influenced by Marin despite being at the mercy of the uproar which Marin creates from the very first day. They have to cope with the gruelling training, unimaginable seasickness and conflicts with male students Yagi Yamato, Narumi Arata, Kogure Kensuke and Yamada Shotaro.

Iitoyo Marie as Sakamoto Marin
A first-year student of Kanto Maritime University. She cannot read situations and has a very spontaneous nature.
Takeda Rena as Ishikawa Tsubame
A first-year student of Kanto Maritime University. She easily gets carried away by moods.
Sakurada Dori as Yagi Yamato
A first-year student of Kanto Maritime University. He has no self-confidence. A serial playboy who is interested in Ishikawa Tsubame.
Yuhi as Narumi Arata
A first-year student of Kobe Kainan University and the team leader who does not approve of Sakamoto Marin. He is excessively proud of his muscles. He has a stubborn nature but is a coward.
Ikemoto Keita as Yamada Shotaro
A first-year student of Kanto Maritime University. He is thin and easily gets an upset stomach. He is brainy and devotes himself to learning about ships and the ocean.
Izawa Yuki as Kogure Kensuke
A first-year student of Kobe Kainan University who is already married. He resigned from a foreign company because he set his sights on becoming a navigator. He is mentally weak and is not dependable.
Hibi Mikoto as Ukawa Anju
A first-year student of Kobe Kainan University who is elitist and thinks she is the most outstanding among the students undergoing practical training. Although she looks down on Sakamoto Marin’s group which keeps causing trouble, at the same time, she also sees Marin as a rival.
Nukumizu Yoichi as Hayashida Yonosuke
The captain of Miraimaru. He does not have the appearance of a captain but he is a reliable man who makes unerring judgements.
Horibe Keisuke as Yokoyama Kazuya
The instructor of the students. He is a senior officer of the department of nautical studies. His nickname is instructor from hell.
