Story: Fukagawa Kyoka (Kitagawa Keiko) is a nurse who works at a general hospital. A patient who had been hospitalised in ward 417 would press the nurse call button several times late at night and died in pain. From that day on, the nurse call would ring non-stop every night in the empty ward 417. Patients hospitalised in that ward die suddenly one after another and the ward eventually starts being called “room of death”. A fellow nurse Yokoyama Shiori (Kawaei Rina) warns Kyoka that it is better not to use that ward. However, Kyoka will not be swayed by such rumours and denies this disturbing situation as the senior nurse. One day Kyoka’s younger brother Atsushi (Shison Jun) sustains serious injury and is brought to the hospital where she works and hospitalised in ward 417 … …

Aru Mansion
Story: Inaba Shuichi (Tegoshi Yuya) works for a cleaning company. Because he is not good with jobs which involve other people, he had no particular goals after graduating from university and took this job out of necessity. One day, Inaba is put in charge of cleaning an old apartment building. He rides in the lift with a middle-aged man who has the air of a salaryman. As the lift goes higher, it should be hot like a sauna but he feels a chill and hears a strange sound which gives him bad vibes. Inaba gets off first. When he looks back, a long-haired woman in red is standing like she is clinging to the middle-aged man. Shortly after that, Inaba goes back to the carpark to take something he had forgotten and the middle-aged man attempts to kill himself by jumping off the building. Neither the lid nor the opening can be found and it makes a rustling sound for some reason. Story: A very queer and mysterious story has been handed down in Nagamine Osamu’s (Endo Kenichi) family for generations. According to the terrifying legend, “When the head of the family tells people that he has seen “the woman in white”, he will certainly die.” One day in summer, Nagamine goes as a family to pay respects at the grave during Obon. He happens to see a woman in white and ends up telling his family about this. From that day on, the woman in white also starts showing up frequently in Nagamine’s home too.

Kage Onna
Story: Kawamura Kanako (Sugisaki Hana) moves to the apartment that Natsuno (Yokosawa Natsuko), her senior at her part-time job, had lived in until recently, and begins her dream life of living alone. However, there is something like a small black spot on the bedroom wall. At first, Kanako does not care about it. But this spot grows larger every day and starts becoming human-like in shape. “Natsuno-san knew something of the situation but hid it?” Kanako’s good friend Ayami (Ishii Anna) tells her to press Natsuno for an explanation. However, Kanako hesitates even though she acknowledges that it is a “little strange” because she cannot bring herself to do this to her senior whom she is grateful to. Meanwhile, Kanako explains the situation to the landlord and is relieved to have the wallpaper replaced. But right after this, a bigger human-like black spot comes out.
