Synopsis: A port town set in a small bay in Mie Prefecture is close to Kumano. Many people come for the Kumano pilgrimage route which is a designated World Heritage site. However, barely anyone comes to such a quiet town. Childhood friends Minbu Tomo (Wakui Emi), Azeyanagi Natsu (Nishida Naomi) and Ujihara Shiho (Kimura Tae) live here. They are singles in their late 40s, and have been living together for close to a decade. The three women produce and sell local folk art. In the day, the kitchen of a refurbished old Japanese-style house resembles a cafe. In the night, it resembles a bar. While they may have quarrels, it is placid every day. The regulars at their cafe are their former classmates, Minato Taro (Toyama Toshiya) and Hiyamizu Jiro (Omi Toshinori), who are now fishermen. The two of them come every day. They talk and they argue. And they grow older. Then one day, a young man (Shison Jun) on a solo trip from Tokyo arrives at the house of Tomo, Natsu and Shiho. They are enchanted by his beautiful face which pierces their hearts and collapse on the floor smiling. His name is Watanabe Sora. He stays at their house for the time being and they immediately brighten up. His gentleness and sweet words give these middle-aged women the wrong idea. And completely transforms their quiet lives of resignation. The three of them try to have their own time alone with Sora and probe each other. But one night, an incident happens … …
