Synopsis: 34-year-old Morita Katsuhiro (Ito Atsushi), a financial planner who works for Suzuran Bank’s Nakano branch in Tokyo, is an ordinary bank employee with a steady income and a stable life. He silently works hard every day for the sake of his family. But one day, his wife Chika (Kinami Haruka) suddenly moves out with their 7-year-old son Takahiro (Kobayashi Mirai) and returns to her family home in Yamanashi Prefecture. They end up living apart for a year. Chika comes from a farming family. She has chosen to live separately so that she can help her father (Nishioka Tokuma) who has a bad back. However, she is unable to tell Katsuhiro about her worries. One day, Chika finds the courage to propose that they live together in Yamanashi Prefecture on one of his monthly visits but Katsuhiro is taken aback. Meanwhile, Katsuhiro is put in charge of a bank customer called Kondo Namiko (Natsuki Mari), an old woman who is famous for being a nuisance and pestering the person in charge with several calls a month. When Namiko learns about his circumstances, she warns the clueless Katsuhiro that he is one step away from a divorce but suggests that he help his father-in-law Tabata Kozo out in the farm which he runs, even if it is just on weekends. She even hands him a “beginning note”. She has written what he should do to live with family in the notes. Katsuhiro does not quit believe her, but he begins to tackle his tasks one by one.
