Synopsis: Sara Masaki (Matsuoka Masahiro) was a detective in the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s First Investigation Division until a junior detective Saito Kota lost his life while they were investigating a murder case. Sara was transferred to the First Human Resource Division’s Inspection Unit which cracks down on wrongdoing by police personnel. It is a lonely role and he is regarded with hostility by colleagues who consider him a traitor. Meanwhile, the First Human Resource Division receives a tip-off that Minagawa Nanako, Sara’s former colleague when he belonged to the First Investigation Division, has been illegally divulging confidential data. Sara feels conflicted about having to investigate her, but he complies with the orders of his boss.
