Synopsis: Shirataka Amane (Maki Yoko), a detective at Musashino Higashi Police Precinct, has been given the nickname Hakutaka, or white hawk, as she is able to see the full picture of a case with the keen eyes of a hawk. She is a capable person with the instincts of a detective as well as the intelligence and the physical ability to get out of charged situations. One day, someone dressed as a clown is found dead in a park. When Amane starts investigating, puffer fish poison is detected from the victim. She discovers balloons with the letters TTX which indicate puffer fish poison as well as the number 1 written on them from photos of the victim that were uploaded on social media. Her suspicion that someone is claiming responsibility for the death and the possibility of a serial murder is dismissed by Fukugawa Saeko (Kuroki Hitomi), the head of the First Investigation Division.
