Synopsis: Hiraga Sakura (Shinohara Ryoko) had to give up on her dream due to an accident. She is now married to a man who runs a hair salon and they live in a luxurious penthouse in a high-rise apartment building. Sakura seems to lead a glamorous life as a housewife and is the envy of everyone. However, she constantly feels sad when she is alone. Her husband whom she once loved and married, abuses her physically and verbally. And yet, she cannot leave him. Sakura identifies with the goldfish swimming in a fishbowl. This goldfish is instrumental in her encounter with a man one day. Because he accepts her for who she is, Sakura is no longer able to repress the feelings that she has stifled all this while and ends up crossing the line. Synopsis: During the tumultuous period towards the end of the Tokugawa shogunate, a young lady Yukimura Chizuru visits Kyoto from Edo in search of her missing father. The rasetsu, who are humans that have turned into bloodthirsty monsters which commit unimaginably horrible deeds, and men of Shinsengumi who are led by Hijikata Toshizo (Sakiyama Tsubasa) show up in front of her. The Shinsengumi slay the rasetsu in an instant. However, the fate of Chizuru’s father Tsunamichi is inextricably linked to both the rasetsu and the Shinsengumi. Chizuru eventually stays with the Shinsengumi as she searches for her father.
