Synopsis
Located in a deserted alley in Kyoto, Izakaya Nobu’s front entrance has been mysteriously connected to Aiteria, a parallel universe that looks like medieval Europe, since a year ago. The master Yazawa Nobuyuki and cheerful waitress Senke Shinobu originally started the joint in Aiteria. Nobu initially had hardly any customers until its cold beer called Toriaezu Nama became very popular and its cuisine gained gradual acceptance. It is loved by regulars who helped them overcome a crisis when Nobu landed up in trouble after the city council’s president Bachschouf deemed Toriaezu Nama to be illegal. Izakaya Nobu has remained in business and on this day, its regular customers Nicholas, Hans and Berthold get into an animated debate over the seasoning for the deep-fried chicken. Then one day, an unfamiliar female customer with the look of a witch, shows up at Nobu.
