Synopsis: 36-year-old Matsumoto Takuya (Ikuta Toma) is a health and physical education teacher at a junior high school and local hero who once participated in the Hakone long distance relay. He focuses too much on work and procrastinates on troublesome matters at home. His 34-year-old wife Sakura (Tabe Mikako) manages musicians at a music agency. She is on the verge of giving up on her talent for playing the piano but unexpectedly gets a chance to turn pro. That is when Takuya suddenly learns that he has cancer. The couple are faced with the choice of whether to have children – a question that they had been putting off. As they find it increasingly challenging to lead a normal life, they have to confront the harsh reality that the time he has left is the time limit for them to make a baby. Meanwhile, Takuya vows to himself that he will not envy Sakura’s future while Sakura agonises about whether she should sacrifice her career and devote time to Takuya. Husband and wife start to rebuild their relationship after his cancer diagnosis.
