Synopsis: The novelist Isayama Jin (Seto Koji) writes every day with the pure desire to spread words of love across an excessively aggressive world. Although he is attracting a lot of attention from the public as a romance writer, he actually has a developmental disorder. Jin’s mind and body are more sensitive and delicate than the average person. He rarely leaves the house because he cannot bear to be shaken up by the malice that randomly emanates from people. His wife Yumi (Ueno Juri) whom he met in high school has always been by his side. They each treasure the modest life that they have with the person they love. She is also his motivation. One day, Jin receives an email from a French publisher requesting a lecture and an interview in France. Learning that he will also be able to go to the famous Mont Saint Michel that Yumi had described as a lovely place quite some time ago, Jin breaks into a smile. However, he would have to take a plane to France which is a long distance away. The moment he imagines an airplane flying with a roaring sound, he feels extremely suffocated and collapses. However, that night Jin sees Yumi mesmerised by scenes of Mont Saint Michel on TV without knowing about the request that he had received. His heart aches at the thought that she cannot go to on the trip because of him and he unexpectedly decides to accept the publishing company’s request. Yumi considers turning it down since Jin would face a great deal of strain flying on a plane. But he tells her that he wants to go to France with her and sends over his consent.
