Synopsis: Inukai Hajime (Matsumura Hokuto), a fourth year student at Saikyo Medical University, is assigned to the forensic science lab and ends up learning from Associate Professor Kiriyama Yuki (Nakama Yukie) even though he has no interest in forensic science. Despite being made to work hard, he starts to feel a sense of satisfaction. One day, the two of them head to the forest to examine the body of a dead man. Judging from the situation, he was most likely murdered. In addition, an autopsy reveals that the victim was a patient whom Yuki had done brain surgery on 10 years ago. To think she would have to dissect the body of a patient whose life she had saved! When Yuki tests his blood, she does not find any sign that he had been taking medication to suppress seizures. This discovery makes her grow suspicious. Meanwhile, Hajime attends the after-party following the wedding of a former part-time colleague Tachibana Ryohei (Sano Gaku). They had been members of the same faculty of pharmacy at university, but he will work for the company of Tachibana Yui’s father from now on. However, Ryohei is found dead at the hotel right after the ceremony. Detective Murakami Mamoru (Tanabe Seiichi) believes he committed suicide by taking poison based on the autopsy results.
