Story
34-year-old Nishida Rika, a store manager of the organic cafe chain ‘Allegro’ which is under Shows Holdings, has been having an affair for three years with the handsome, desirable Kashiwagi Sota. 20 years her senior, the ambitious Kashiwagi is the managing director of Shows Holdings and son-in-law of the company president. He has a beautiful wife, Mitsuko, and a daughter who is a high school student, Miu. Because her mother died when she was 17, Rika has been attached to her father. She sought a father figure and fell in love with Kashiwagi. Although she realises that their affair has no future, her love for him is deep. Rika chooses to focus only on the happiness in front of her right now as she throws herself into her work. However, Rika is betrayed and dumped by Kashiwagi. Furthermore, Mitsuko, who knows about the relationship between the two of them, orchestrated it. She hates Rika and forces her on a date with businessman Ochiai Keiichi. The moment Rika learns about this, the flames of vengeance flare up within her. Even so, she is not able to completely become the wicked woman. She brought it upon herself. But she can no longer back down when she begins to get battered by the continuous onslaught of evil around her. Then she finds out that Mitsuko is emotionally reliant on Keiichi who is the younger brother of Kashiwagi’s good friend. Rika decides to steal his heart and starts to date him with a view to marriage. However, Mitsuko is a seasoned femme fatale. Rika regrets her declaration of war, but Mitsuko is spurred on to fight. It is not only a female who attacks Rika. Keiichi has an illicit love for Mitsuko and cannot get her out of his mind. The same goes for Rika as well as Sota. He has a secret ambition which Rika will also fall victim to. A complicated and dangerous love between the four develops … …

Tanaka Rena as Nishida Rika
A hardworking 34-year-old office lady who works for a major distribution group. She realises that her affair with Kashiwagi Sota has no future, and yet she is unable to get over him and continues with their relationship while holding onto hope. Her life is set into motion due to a trap set by Sota’s wife, Mitsuko, and she decides to take revenge.
Aoyagi Sho as Ochiai Keiichi
A 33-year-old businessman who runs an IT company. The younger brother of Kashiwagi Sota’s friend and is a close family friend. Although he admires Sota like an older brother, he is secretly in love with Mitsuko. Nevertheless, he agrees to an arranged introduction with Rika at Mitsuko’s suggestion.
Wakamura Mayumi as Kashiwagi Mitsuko
Kashiwagi Sota’s rich wife. She married Sota who works for the company which her father, runs and gave birth to a daughter. To the casual onlooker, she has built a happy family. She learns that Nishida Rika is her husband’s lover and hates her. Ochiai Keiichi gives her a sense of peace. She tells Keiichi to meet Rika as a prospective marriage partner because of malicious intentions.
Murakami Hiroaki as Kashiwagi Sota
The managing director of the company which Nishida Rika works for and the man whom she is having an affair with. A popular man within the company, he is married to the company president’s daughter, Mitsuko. They have a daughter, Miu who regards him as a good father.
Hiraizumi Sei as Nishida Toshio
Nishida Rika’s father. He recently retired from his technical job with an electronics manufacturer. His wife died of illness when Rika was 17. He lives together with his son, Rika’s younger brother.
Yoshida Riko as Kashiwagi Miu
The 17-year-old daughter of Kashiwagi Sota and Mitsuko. She is disdainful of her mother because she is going through a rebellious phase. She has adored Ochiai Keiichi like an older brother ever since she was a child.
Ikehata Shinnosuke as Ezaki Ryuko
A famous calligrapher and person of culture. The person who presides over the calligraphy class which Nishida Rika, Kiritani Maki and Takimoto Izumi attend. She is philosophical about life. She trifles with Rika’s life out of curiosity.
